How do I reset the "change oil" message on a 2003 Chevy avalanche?

Turn the ignition on (don't start engine) and floor the gas pedal, then let it fully return up 5 times within 5 seconds and your oil life will reset to 100%.

turn the key on like is said above, hit the gas pedal all theway to the floor 3 times. the light should flash. If it doesn't you need to turnt he ignition off and back on. after the light flashes, turn the key off then starteh vehicle. thelight should go out.
