What is meant by Reduce Engine Power with a code of 1516 for a 2003 Cadillac Escalade

The code was checked and read TPS. An new accelarator pedal sensor was put on a week ago. I have started to get the message again "Reduce Engine Power" and the truck will slow down

The P1516 code pertains to the TPS. Were the codes cleared when the new TPS was installed? Have it scanned for new codes.
