NEED HELP GETTING INTO VENT SYSTEM

A FLAPPING NOISE HAPPENS ON STARTUP IN THE VENTS THEN FLOW IS CUTOFF TO THE UPPER OUTLETS WHEN THE FLAPPING NOISE STOPS. HOW DO I GET AT THE DIVERTER FLAP TO RE-ATTACH IT?

SORRY NOT MUCH HELP. I CAN NOT FIND A WAY TO REMOVE THE TOP OF THE DASH OR THE FACE OF THE DASH O GET AT THE VENT SYSTEM

My reference material shows this as being about 5 to 10 pages of description. You would be much better served by purchasing a Haynes or Chilton Auto Repair Manual for $20. You'd have pictures, also. If this isn't something you can do, I'll see what I can do about getting the whole procedure to you.

Does this flaping once or more?Possable noisy vacuum door. You need to remove the whole dash to remove the a/c case just to go inside the case. Remove the lower dash panels and see if you can trace the noise.
