Car Won't Start Right Up

2003 Deville DHS I replaced my Cam Shaft Position Sensor, But my car won't crank still it makes a tatt tatt noise & won't turnover till like the 15th or 20th crank, what may be the problem? bcause the battery & alternator or fine.

BAD GROUND
OR BAD STARTER
MOST LIKELY ITS A BAD ENGINE GROUND
