Will replacing the driver's side module, fix the battery from dying after 6-8 hours each time left in the garage?

not necessarily, you have to find out where the draw is coming from to fix that. All batteries will have some draw due to radio and other electronic features. go to ow to check a dead battery then item 9 under repair it tells you how to do it.
