i own a cadillac cts 2003..but whn im accelerating around 40 to 70 mph my car info screen will display something about engine speend and when i press the gas nothing happens my cars slowly decreases speed and i have to turn the car off and then on to get it back to normal what can be the problem?

It sounds like what you are describing is reduced engine power, or more generically known as limp mode. With this concern, I have seen throttle body, connector, and wiring issues, over time. It would need diagnosed. There should also be diagnostic trouble codes associated with it.
