2003 cts is smoking because???

my 2003 cts's head gasket was replaced and its still smoking under the hood, leaking a little oil, and under the car the exhaust is smoking as well. it's white smoke, but whats wrong? is there motor damage?

Why did you have to replace the head gasket?

if u didnt send your heads to the machine shop to be rebuilt.youll have to do that.the heads crack when overheating.
