back up lights

will the neutral saftey switch stop my back up lights from working on my 2003 cadillac cts

Check and test the back-up fuse and the reverse lamp relay

follow the shift cable to trans. the neutral switch by the trans. selector shaft.there is 2 13mm screws loosen them and u can adjust the switch by turnin the switch l an r.with the car in rev. have some1 watch the lights. when they come on tighten 1 bolt.then go into car start the car in prak and neutral and recheck rev. lights if all is good. then rescure the other screw. gl
