AWD Disabled

I have a 2003 Buick Rendevous and when my husband pulled out our spare tire the "AWD Disabled" light came on in the message box. Now not all the time but once in a while it will pop up again. How do we enable the AWD again or reset the light

you may need to change the fluid in the rear differential as itmay be overheating and causing the light to go on. It will need to be scaned by a professional model scaner to tell what is actually happening.
