Was the steering wheel and steering system centered before you installed the new clock spring?

Does the radio work properly and is it the original one? Were any computer modules replaced?

No my radio is locked because my battery went out and I took it out thinking I was going to get a new one but there is so much to do with a new one tried to put it back and now it's locked. Then the airbag light stayed on, with no horn. My husband replace the clock spring I got a horn but the light hasn't went out yet. I am not sure what to do next. So many problems. No radio. And a light that wouldn't go out. The error massage is saying B1001. They tried over and over again toe reset the light but it gives them a massage B1001. Help please

This is going to require a trip to the dealer. The heart of the problems is the radio. The engineers built the Body Computer into it to prevent people from replacing them with aftermarket radios. All the other dozens of computers are told to "wake up" by the radio when the ignition switch is turned on.

The fault code refers to two computers disagreeing with the programming of the air bag system, so it may be necessary to simply unlock one of them or one may need new software installed. GM has it figured out so most independent shops can't do the programming, so I don't know how serious this will be. I only know they don't do it for free.
