Car accelerates on it own

This is a problem that does not happen all the time. I have driven the car has much as two weeks before it will occur again. The rpms on the engine will increase(up to about 3000). Then I have replace the mass air flow sensor.

There aren't any codes in the computer.

This could be very dangerous. You should have a tech look at the vehicle. Also, check the idle air control valve.
