2003 bmw z4 will not start and EML light is on

My 2003 bmw z4 will not start. No clicking or any noise
EML dash light is on. Have installed new battery.

If its not a security system issue could be the starter motor, starter relay, clutch swith or transmission range switch and ignition switch-Double check the battery and connections at the battery and starter motor

You might try the other key (if you have more than one) It seems like it could be the drive away protection, called EWS. If it is, the car will require realignment at a shop that has a GT-1 or Autologic, mere mortals cant do this realignment in the comfort of their own garage, it takes special tools.
