My car suddenly overheaed with now warning lights when to red quickly, was on motorway so took it carefuul to next juntion to get off and turned it off, wouldnt start , AA man found hose split caused by fan rubbing it, made temp repair but car still was steaming, I have done alot off damage ?

Perhaps it has yes. overheating is not good for the M54 motor
