A few months ago we did a oil change on our car we took it to a shop not a bmw dealer ever since we had problems with the car starting it starts but make like sways you back and forth and the when you press the gas the car does not accelerate. When that happens we have to turn it off once or twice until that stops the. It drive fine. I have no idea what is going on

Has the car been scanned for fault codes?, if not, have that done and see if it uncovers something.
