whilst driving, my car starts to crawl, l lose power and the battery light flashes on then off. Then it takes a while for the power to kick in and catch up to normal rev! Anything spring to mind - PLEASE?

Do you have a check engine light?

Have the charging system checked, alternator could be failing-start here
