It is a manual and automatic, when I try to get above 20 mph it feels like its skipping, then it goes back to normal. And it only happens when I first start driving. My husband thinks it just need a transmission flush but im not sure that will fix the problem.

Why do you feel it is the transmission? Is there something indicating that is the issue? It could be something as simple as a bad fuel pump going bad.

Well I think its the transmission b/c I don't know why else it would feel like its skipping out when its switching gears, and Acura has a reputation of bad transmissions, we are planning on getting the transmission flushed, but its kinda expensive so I just don't know if that's gonna fix it, or if we will end up having to spend more to get it fixed.

If the present trans fluid is clean and full, I don't feel a flush will help. It will most likely be a waste of money. Before spending over 100 on a flush, I would use that money to have it diagnosed by a good trans tech.
