HOW TO REPLACE BRAKE LIGHT SWITCH

STOPLIGHT SWITCH

Locate stoplight switch, above brake pedal.
Disconnect wire connector.
Loosen stoplight switch lock nuts.
Turn stoplight switch outward until it comes off.
Install new switch.
Turn stoplight switch inward until plunger threaded end is touching pedal arm pad.
See Fig. 2 .
Back off switch 1/4 turn until clearance between threaded end and pedal end is .01" (0.3 mm).
Tighten lock nuts.
Ensure brakelights go off when pedal is released.
