Why does the recommended maintenance for 100K miles say 'replace timing chain/belt'?

This isn't normal for other OEMs, so why does Honda suggest this? Very expensive!

No symptoms of any failing component. Why does Honda claim this is a normal maintenance item for 100K miles?
