2003 Acura MDX tranny problems

Hello, My 2003 Acura MDX is hard to shirt into gears. The floor shifter lever is suddenly very stiff and you almost have to force it to move it into any gear. When I pull out the trans. dipstick to check fluid, a "whoosh" of air comes out as if it is "pressurized". I have tried the "flush & drive a few miles" fluid change a total of (6) six times. Is my tranny going out at 140K ?

Shifter hard to move is not a transmission internal fault. Check the cable and linkages for damages.

If there is any pressure in the trans, the breather is clogged. Check the breather hose for kinking or being clamped by anything nearby.

Was any repairs done prior to this occurring?
