The temperature will more will stay a consistent warm feeling from about 60 to 80ish before the A/C switches over into the heating setting. I hear a faint pop or knock behind the dash and I'm thinking it could be the driver side blend door actuator but I'm not entirely sure. The heat temperature on both driver and passenger side are the same. The rear a/c can blow hot and cold just fine.

Hi,

If you are hearing the sound and the air temperature isn't changing, chances are it is the blend door. Actually, Acura calls it the air mix control motor.

I attached pics below showing its location and the directions for the removal and replacement. There is a linkage rod that attaches to a lever. It may have come disconnected or the actuator itself may have failed.

I would suggest removing it for inspection. When it is out, see if it responds when you change the temperature request.

Let me know what you find.

Joe
