On my 2002 Volvo S80. When I release my foot off of the brake pedal I hear a wheezing like sound like when you hold the mouth of a balloon and squeeze it slowly until the air seeps out. When I put my foot on the pedal it stops the noise. What is the problem?

There is a vacuum leak at the brake booster and you need to have it checked.
