Does the inj. signal off of the cam, crank, or a impulse sen. ? It's not the anti theft sys. it fires a signal sometimes. i turned the car over and it sounds like something in the rear of the head. i haven't took the valve cover off yet. but does it have a window on the end of the ex cam that could come loose and shut down the injector impulse?

It will always fire a signal really quick at first then kill the injectors. But there is a cam sensor in the back you can inspect for damage. Most likely will be on the exhaust side. You will need to remove the upper torque mount and the bracket it sits on to acces the cover to remove it. If you do suspect an issue with the cam sensor scan it for fault codes. There will be a fault code posted for it if the sensor is faulty or cam timing has jumped.
