Speedometer not working

I have a 2002 Volvo S40 speedometer stops working, ABS and Brake warning lights come on. Some times goes back to normal but not to often. I have tried replacing the speed sensors with no change.

I have only scanned error codes that shows misfires which I have replaced the coils but it shows nothing that would relate to the speedo.

You could have several faults. To properly diagnose, you would need to have the transmission control module scanned for codes and the ABS modul scanned for codes as well. If you have wheel sensor codes or faulty pump in the ABS, then the ABS unit is faulty and will need to be replaced. For the TCM, look for a VSS code (Vehicle Speed Sensor) you could have a bad VSS in the transmisson.
