Unable to start my VW 2002 Jetta TDI. Fault codes are PO725 Engine speed circuit malfunction; P1780 manufacture control transmission; and P1850 manufacture control transmission. I also noticed that the glow plug light will not come on when I try to start the cold engine. These codes were read from an Actron OBDII auto scanner. The starter turns engine over like normal, but it will not start. I did have the battery out to charge up and pulled fuses out to see if there was a draw on the battery with the key in the off position, but discovered there wasn't a draw on the battery. I checked the fuses for the glow plug and they are okay. The vehicle will not start now. What is the problem with the vehicle?

If the 50Amp fuse is ok, check the glow relay also note that the relay feed power to the glow plugs in groups of 2, that is one power wire feeds 2 glow plugs and there are 2 feeds out of the relay.
