I have a 2002 VW GTI 1.8L and my car battery dies while driving. Which causes my EPC light to come on which causes a jerking feeling while driving. The EPC light also used to come on randomly while driving if I didn't turn on the ASR button. Any help?

Low voltage will cause the EPC issues. Have you determined what is causing the battery do go dead? The alternator?
