When i turn on the defrost or close the return air . The brake light turns on.when this problem started the ac stopped working also!? Thank u for Ur help!

Check for broken / shorted wires in the trunk lid wiring loom... open trunk lid fully and check wining in the top right and left looms (rubber
accordion looking hoses).
