The transmission for my 2002 Eurovan Weekender either fails to engage or "jumps" into gear when I put it in reverse. The transmission works fine otherwise. Do I need a new transmission, and, if so, what should I expect to pay?

Thanks

have it scanned for codes first and check trans fluid for being full. it may be an elelctrical problem or it may be an internal one butyou need to scan it first.
