2002 VW Superbeetle engine cranks and starts but then stalls and will not remain running? Help me, Ben

It sounds like the air intake boot is torn or off the throttle body. Can you follow this guide and let me know what you find?

Yep big tear in the boot I replaced it and the engine has never run better, I love this site.
