Gear Shifter broke

The Gear shifter. Broke off after switching it from drive to park there is cast aluminum that is broke as. Well does my husband. Need to buy a whole new steering column or. Can this aluminum housing be replaced. For less money the Vehicle is a 2002 Toyota Tundra
