My check engine is on and i need to know how to repair or replace a. 02 sensor so that my truck can pass emmision testing or how can i overide problem
Id like to see in detail how to repair this without having to take my truck in to an automotive shop or a mechanic

The O2 sensor is located on the exhaust system before the catalytic converter. There is a wire that will need unplugged first. Once that is done, the sensor screws out of the exhaust system. Simply replace it with a new sensor, tighten it, and reconnect the plug.
