2002 Toyota Rav4 Husband Reversed Jumper Cables Now Car Starts Won T Let

My husband reversed the jumper cables so now the car starts no problem but the car won't let me shift into any gear and I have no lights radio ect please help

Check the fuses. Expect a lot of them to be blown.
