I've read your posts for code p1135. Thanks. The parts store computer readout includes this code plus two other probable causes:
aa1: open or short circuit condition
aa2: Poor electrical connection

The clerk stated that replacing the sensor may not fix the problem because of the subcodes. The part is $121.00

What do you think, take to auto electric or replace the sensor myself?

Thanks!

HEY BUDDY--I RECKON YOU ARE RETURNING HERE? DID NOT GO BACK TO THE POST YOU ORIGINALLY STARTED? WHOMEVER WAS AIDING YOU MAY NOT SEE YOUR NEW QUESTION (NOW IN A DIFFERENT LOCATION) SO.I ANSWER MOSTLY CJ JEEP QUESTIONS HERE, ALSO JEEP, AMC, FORD, AND ANYTHING ELSE WITHIN MY MECHANICAL OR LOGICAL MEANS.I BELIEVE STRONGLY IN GETTING MULTIPLE DIAGNOSIS' AND COMPARING THEM TO EACH OTHER. I THEN LOOK AT WHO WAS "IN LINE" WITH WHO. TO MAKE A DECISION, AS TO WHAT COURSE OF ACTION I WILL TAKE WITH MY VEHICLE (OR ANYTHING ELSE FOR THAT MATTER!) I ALWAYS USE THE THEORY: "THIS IS MINE, NO ONE CARES ABOUT IT MORE THAN ME!" (REALLY, YOU AND YOURS WILL BE THE ONES AFFECTED--NOT THE ADVISE GIVERS!). EVEN THOUGH I SORTA AM "DEDICATED" TO THIS SITE.I AM HERE TO HELP AND ASSIST YOU IN ANY WAY I CAN.I FEEL 1ST, THAT MAYBE YOU NEED TO HIT YOUR LAST SUBMISSION (QUESTION) WITH YOUR NEW INFO, HE WILL BE ALERTED AND WILL RESPOND BACK (OR SHOULD).2ND, I "GOOGLED" YOUR CODE (ENTERED " p1135 toyota") MY 2ND HIT, "OBD" OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT, WAS INTERESTING.I TRY TO BE TRUTHFUL, AND REALLY HELP SOMEONE--I AM NOT A SALESMAN (UNLESS SELLING MY STUFF!) I GET 2ND, 3RD, 4TH, INFINITE OPINIONS MYSELF. REMEMBER, WHATEVER HAPPENS, IT IS YOUR FAULT/ GLORY, FOR YOU HAD THE FINAL SAY-SO.I REALLY KNOW NOTHING ABOUT YOUR VEHICLE. THERE MAY BE OTHER INEXPENSIVE OPTIONS FOR YOU, IF YOU CANNOT DO THE REPAIR YOURSELF.I'M PRETTY GOOD AT FINDING THEM. I AM JUST TRYING TO GIVE YOU ANYTHING THAT MIGHT EXPEDITE/ FIND A CORRECT REPAIR FOR YOUR RIG/ HELP YOU MAKE "SOUND" DECISIONS. AND ALSO KEEPING YOU HAPPY WITH OUR SITE, RETURN TRIPS, BY YOU AND YOUR FRIENDS IN THE FUTURE WOULD BE WELCOMED!--THE MEDIC. MY VERY BEST ADVISE TO YOU IS. GET A REAL JEEP, THEY NEVER GO AWAY! I HAVE 2 NOW-HAD 5 OTHERS, NEVER NOTHING ELSE. THIS IS MY 1946, WILLYS L-134 "WILLY" IS HIS NAME. HE'S 65 NOW, DRIVES JUST LIKE IT WAS 1950 ALL OVER AGAIN!
