Recent change in engine sound and performance. Occurs when accelerating. Some hesitation problems but engine gets louder with a deep rumbling sound whenever I accelerate anything more than gentle acceleration. I am concerned that something is wrong.

Check the air cleaner for proper installation. Any leaks would result in resonance noises.
