My Toyota always had problems recently, I have to go to the autozone for diag every time, so I am considering to buy a obd2 so that I can know what the problem is, and choose going to the autozone or not. So what is the best you ever had?

There is no such thing as best as each scan tool has its pros and c ons but for specific models, most generic scan tool works. Please do not mistake between a code reader and scan tool. They are two completely category and are worlds apart in terms of cost and capabilities.
