I hear knocking sound when turning corners, Is this a "axel" problem?

Should I be driving my car at all?

If the noise is a crocking type, then yes, they should be from the axles.

You can continue to drive the vehicle unless the noise is very loud. It would be adviseable to have the problem rectified asap.
