After reset of car and short drive, car now shuts off at stop. Restarts and runs just fine but can't hold Idle. Have Cleaned Throttle Body, IAC, TBS, MAF and all connectors. Checked and disconnected engine relays before next reset. Still no Idle. With and without IAC connected, no effect to this no Idle. Is there a way to check if the IAC has died? Have I missed something? Thanks.

Scott:
If there is no change when you disconnect the IAC, you need to check to see if there is a power supply to it. Also, have you checked to make sure none of the vacuum hoses have been disconnected or damaged?

Hi:

I checked the vacuum lines and didn't see any leaks, but I will recheck. I plan on changing the upstream O2's and cleaning the EGR also. Is there a special fuse just for the IAC?

I rechecked Vacuum and OK. So I took IAC out and cleaned Throttle Body IAC area with Carb Cleaner and Toothbrush. Started it multiple times to start at 3000rpm burst to blow clean. Reinstalled cleaned IAC and all restored back to normal 700rpm idle.

This was the problem, apparently.

Thanks!

Sorry...... IAC was the real problem. The No Idle came back. I replaced IAC and problem solved.
