I have a 15 amp fuse that blows and kills the engine. It has happened twice. Right now the fuse blows as soon as I turn on the ignition. The fuse is located in the right hand side on the engine compartment and is the forward one of three. If I know what the fuse controls, I can check for a shorted wire.

I think that is for the fuel pump. When you turn the key on, can you hear the fuel pump energize?

The fuel pump is located in the fuel tank. You should be able to hear a slight hum for a couple seconds when you first turn the ignition switch to the run position.
