A very severe rattle develops after the car is thoroughly warm at highway speeds. It occurs only when under load, stops as soon as the accelerator is released. The rattle sounds like an exhaust pipe and doesn't appear to relate to rotational frequencies. It is quite loud and can occur in any gear. Location seems to be in the area of the passenger side front.
