2002 Subaru Forester Loud Clunk Shifting Into Reverse Only Happens Car Stone

Loud clunk when shifting into reverse. Only happens when car is stone cold - either first thing in the morning or after it has sat for eight hours or more. What could this be? Only started after I had the radiator and thermostat replaced.

could be a motor mount. have it checked.

does it come from the trans??
