I have a 2002 Saturn SL2 and the Service Engine Soon light came on. I took it to Autozone and they diagnosed it with a camshaft sensor problem. I forgot the code that the car gave. How can I check this myself and how much would a sensor cost?

I dont think this model uses a camshaft sensor/ what you probaly are in need of is a tune up (spark plugs/wires) This code can be set by the engine detecting misfires.

Just to add to this one there is no camshaft sensor as PROTECH1980 suspected. The most common reason for the code P0340 or P0341 is black carbon build up on the plugs and wire's look for black carbon. Also look for corroded coil tower's let us know what you find.
