My wife has a 2002 L300, 4 door with the 3.0 engine. Recently when locking the powerlocks with the key fob the panic alarms are triggered. Also when removing the key from the ignition the locks are supposed to unlock yet are not. Ideas would be helpful as the dealers aren't.

When you lock the car with the key fob does it just honk or is it the full blown panic alarm goes off.If you want the doors to unlock when turning the key off and pulling the key out try with the key in the run position hold the drivers door lock switch on the door in the unlock position for more then 5 seconds then see if it unlocks when turning it off and pulling the key out.
