Three years ago the wiper on the passenger side stopped working. At the time, I was told that the motor had to be replaced. A week ago my wipers began stopping in an upright position instead of parking horizontally. It was raining and they were operating fine. Shortly before shutting them off, the driver side blade went slightly too far twice and hit the outer edge of the windshield. Everything seems to be working fine. The connections, relay and fuses were all checked. The information that I found leads me to believe that the parking contacts might be damaged. Can they be repaired/replaced without replacing the entire motor? I honestly cannot afford to replace it again. Thank you in advance for your help.
