electric windows & automatic door locks

I have a saturn 2002 L series. I have replaced the drive window motor twice and it still works only occasionall. The sensor is good. So what could be wrong?
All the other windows have always worked great. Also, the automatic door locks have started working olny occasionally.

As far as the window goes i have seen wire's in that rubber boot that goes to your door break from opening and closing the door over time.You will have to remove the door panel to see if your getting power and ground to your window motor when it's inop.Do you have a multimeter to do some checking?
