So today i was driving my 2002 Saab 9-5 linear and the power just went out and i had no brakes or steering and luckily got off to the side of the road. It hasn't been sounding right when starting it and sometimes it wont start the first time and I'll have to do it again. after i got off to the side of the road i started it up just fine. what is going on here? I'm scared to drive it! oh and it was 106 degrees today but the temperature gauge was in the middle not to hot not to cold.

i would have the fuel pressure checked as it may be a failing fuel pump.
