2002 saab 9-5 the car is not starting ,it dont turn over!!!! what do i do??

Is the starter working?

do u have fuel pressure if what u r saying is that it starts but cut right out after ,check for fuel ,post back after test,good luck.

i dont know if itz the starter or not it cracked up before twice but cut right off like itz not getting on fire. i just tryed a cracking senor thtz not it how do i kno if itz not getting fuel? i got this car from a auction for $400 n fell n love wit it itz n good conduction but cant find no good person that would work on it :(

ok this is what u need to do ,1st visit your parts store ,buy a fuel pressure gauge ,after that take that black cover over the throttle body off if u have one on it ,now locate the fuel injector rail ,in the middle of the rail u will see a small black screw on cap on test port ,remove cap ,now take fuel pressure gauge & screw the hose on tightly ,after that turn ignition on do not try to start at this point ,just turn ignition on ,check gauge should read about 38-40 psi ,also while turning key on, seat inside vehicle & listen for a buzzing sound from under the rear seat ,if no buzzing & fuel pressure reading is zero ,then u need a fuel pump ,and this is after u have checked all fuses,good luck .

i thank u sooooooo much for this info my dad is off work this weekend n i"ll hav him to check those things u named. he dont no 2 much about saab so dont like touching them. now one man looked at it said he think itz the fuel pump sensor.i"ll keep u posted on wht happenz this weekend on checking the thingz u name.

oh would the alarm stop it from starting?? it dont comes on but when i turn the key u can here the tack tack like itz there but i changed the battery n the key itz still not doin nothing my dad told me he was goin to try changing the batteryz n the alarm siren box mayb they when bad. n i was tryin to figure out what the 3rd wire on the door panel goez to cause itz just hanging n i kno it belongz somewhere do a fuelz belongz n it..itz the only long wire??

ok yall i tryed every thing still not working...but i hav good n bad newz my way, itz was brought to get out on a machine n the man said itz the ignition module,and i was told i hav to buy the whole dirct ignition because itz n there...i ok do anybody kno where i can order one for a nice price
