When revving on idle will not go over 6,000 RPM's

Hello, my vehicle listed above type S, when revving on idle it does not go past 6,000 RPM's, it seems like it's limiting it from going further, but when driving it goes past 6,000 RPM's. Is there anything I should do or check? By the way there is no check engine light.

Good morning,

There is a built-in rev limiter for engine RPM without a load or not in gear. This is normal to protect the engine from damage. Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.
