tapping noise coming from the top of my engine

I have a tapping noise coming from the top of my engine as I accelerate throw the gears you can here it tapping. I have changed the oil too a thicker engine oil but still taps throw the gears.

Tapping noises from top of cylinder heads are usually caused by the valve lifters. If you have hydraulic lifters, they could be bad causing the noise. If valve clearances are adjustable, they should be adjusted. Oil is not going to make any difference if you have a problem.
