why wont alternator charge?

engine light on,battery and alternator are new, found broken prong on pcm, replaced pcm, very frustrating, car still not charging, have checked fuses, does not seem to have an alternator fuse. help!

Does the battery warning light turn on when you turn the ignition switch to "run"? If it does, does it turn off when the engine is running? Do you have a digital voltmeter and know how to use it?

Engine Light on means a fault has been detected by the engine management system. Did you check for trouble codes?

Why do you think it is the alternator that is not charging?

I very much appreciate your quick response,but as I was typing my question my husband found a broken wire going to the alternator and repaired it which fixed my charging problem. Again, thank you
