Why does the engine die when I turn on the heat or air consitioning?

When I start the car I get a squeeking noise and the engine dies when i attempt to use the heater or air conditioning.

the squeaking noise may be the a/c clutch engaging. try cleaning your throttle plate on both sides with choke cleaner also iac hole.
