My gas gague is stuck on F. When I park on an incline or I'm almost compleatly out of fuel the gague will read on E. When I turn the key to where all my lights come on the gague will bounce between 3/4 and F. I think its my sending unit, but dont know where it is.

Thank You so much. I couldn't find out where it was for nothing. Now the only problem is I have to buy the whole fuel pump just to replace the sender. Unless you have any ideas? Where did you find the picture?

If you're not having any engine performance problem, then all you need is the gauge sender.

Do you think that is causeing my problems? I have already checked the ground cable. I'm not sure if the ground cable is all black (should be.) Or black with a pin strip of white. But they was connected good.

The circuit would have to be tested to be able to answer that but the sender is a common failure.

You'll likely have just as many problems. It's even worse when they sit around a long time.
